On average, hotels have 30% free vacancies in Europe. Beyond Bookings understands free vacancies as the number of rooms that, according to the hotels assessment and experience, have a high probability of remaining empty after leveraging all own sales channels.

The room contingent is only valid upon request and according to availability. The hotel retains the right to redeem the rooms only if the hotel has, according to its own assessment, vacancies which have a high probability of remaining empty. This can be ensured by the channel manager or via personal contact with the reservation department amongst others.
